We all have them and although they can be complicated at times but they are worth it.
Over the years I have had the pleasure to be invited to be part of many families birthday celebrations, wedding and christenings.
There are so many different types of family, some are close, some quite frankly cant stand each other but when push comes to shove, most people rely on family when the chips are down.
My family is no different to anyone else's in that we get on at times and don't at others. It is not every family that has a clown in it so mine is a little more crazy than some.
I started my business over 11 years ago with high hopes of creating an amazing career for myself. A marriage break up, prolonged rescission and Brexit later, I am still going.
Crazy Bananas is about families, whether its blood relations or those groups we come to think of as family, I plan each party and event which the knowledge that I am part of someone's special day or event. I am a sole trader and this means that I have no one telling me what I can and cant to, I set my own company policy and about the only rule I have is that a child needs to smile to get a balloon. Event a little one will do, its stopped many tears over the years.
So as I move further into 2017 and more birthday parties, fetes and even overseas work, I know I could not do this without my family.
So grab your tea cup and raise it to families everywhere, of all shapes and sizes.

A truly magic moment.
