Last month Crazy Bananas had her head shaved to raise cash for Macmillan cancer care and would like to thank the many supporters who donated £800.
Last July Crazy Bananas spent ten days in clown costume attending a variety of events to raise cash for a special little boy called Liam who needed a special needs car seat. Many thanks for the £900 donated. I feel I would like to take this opportunity to pass on some sad news. Liam's wonderful Mum Amanda passed away very recently aged just 38 years. I feel privileged to have know Amanda and to say she was my friend. My thoughts and prayers go to her family.
Amanda passed away before she realized her dream of getting a hydro therapy pool for Liam. If anyone would like to make a donation please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be happy to pass on details of how you can do this.
Ending on a more happy note, I am preparing for the annual Mersea Island festival which is an awesome camp in August where people come together and have fun regardless of ability. I am a regular volunteer and this years theme is Cartoontastic. I am looking for props and costumes on this theme so if you have a spare Donald Duck costume in the loft them please think of me..............
Happy days to you all....................Crazy Bananas
